Frequently asked questions
Why do storage sizes differ between my computer and the label?
Drive makers use decimal units (1 GB = 1,000,000,000 bytes) while some operating systems display binary units (1 GiB = 1,073,741,824 bytes). Use the data converter to switch between them.
How many decimals are shown?
Results are shown with up to 10 significant digits, with trailing zeros removed.
