How to use
- Enter a pressure.
- Choose the units.
- Read the result.
How it works
All units convert through the pascal (1 N/m²). A bar is exactly 100,000 Pa, a standard atmosphere exactly 101,325 Pa, and 1 psi ≈ 6,894.76 Pa. Weather maps use hectopascals, which equal millibars.
Examples
- Tyres
- 2.4 bar = 34.8 psi.
- Weather
- 1013.25 hPa = 1 atm = 29.92 inHg.
Common uses
- Car and bike tyre pressure
- Weather and barometers
- Diving and gas cylinders
