How Handful Tools handles your files and data: local processing, no file retention, minimal privacy-friendly analytics.
Files you process
Tools marked “Runs in your browser” process files and text entirely on your device. Nothing is uploaded to our servers.
Tools that require server processing (clearly marked) upload files over HTTPS, process them in an isolated environment and delete them automatically after at most one hour. We never use your files for any other purpose, never share them and never use them to train AI models.
Analytics
Analytics are switched off on this site: no usage data is collected and no analytics cookie is set.
Error monitoring
When something breaks, technical error reports (error message, browser, page URL) may be sent to our error-monitoring service. They never contain your files or text.
What we never collect
We do not collect names, email addresses, accounts, file contents, file names, or the text you type into a tool. There is no advertising network, no social plugin and no third-party tracker on this site.
Cookies
The site itself sets no cookie. A single choice — whether you accepted analytics — would be stored locally in your browser if analytics were enabled. Your recently used tools and favourites, when you use them, are also stored only in your browser and never sent to us.
Your rights and contact
Because we do not hold personal data, there is nothing to export or erase on our side; clearing your browser storage removes everything the site kept.

Exceptions worth knowing
- Remove Image Background downloads an AI model (about 7 MB) from a third-party host the first time you use it. The download contains no data about you, and your image stays on your device.
- Fonts, styles and scripts are served from this site only. No Google Fonts, no third-party trackers.
- The tools you open, the ones you star and your last few searches are saved in your own browser (localStorage) so the site can offer them again. These lists never leave your device and are never sent to us; “Clear this list” on the home page and “Clear” in search delete them.
- Analytics are currently switched off: no cookies are set and no usage data is collected.
