How to use
- Enter the temperature in °C.
- Read the value in °F.
- Use the table for common temperatures.
How it works
Exact formula: °F = °C × 9/5 + 32. Quick estimate: double the Celsius value and add 30 (20 °C → 70 °F, exact 68 °F). It stays within about 4 °F between 0 °C and 30 °C, and drifts further above that.
Useful anchors: 0 °C is freezing (32 °F), 100 °C is boiling water at sea level (212 °F), 37 °C is body temperature (98.6 °F), and −40 is identical in both scales.
Examples
- Nice day
- 25 °C = 77 °F.
- Oven
- 200 °C = 392 °F.
Common uses
- Weather forecasts
- Cooking and baking
