Add a text watermark to every page of a PDF to mark it as confidential, a draft or a copy, or to identify its recipient.

How to use
- Drop a PDF.
- Type the watermark text and choose layout, size, angle, colour and opacity.
- Click Add watermark.
- Download the watermarked PDF.
How it works
The watermark is drawn as real vector text on top of each page's content with the opacity you choose, so it stays sharp at any zoom and doesn't increase file size much. Existing page content is not modified or re-compressed.
It uses the standard Helvetica Bold PDF font, which supports Latin characters (including accents).
Files are processed in your browser with the open-source pdf-lib and pdf.js libraries — they are never uploaded.

Frequently asked questions
Can a PDF watermark be removed?
Anyone with a PDF editor can remove an overlay watermark. For stronger protection, combine it with the “strong” Compress PDF mode, which flattens pages into images.
Can I use a logo?
Text watermarks only for now.
