How it works
Each form field has a value and an appearance (how the value is drawn). Flattening redraws that appearance directly onto the page and removes the interactive field, using the open-source pdf-lib library in your browser.
This also fixes a common problem: some viewers — including many phone apps and email previews — don't display form values at all, so the recipient sees an empty form. A flattened PDF shows the answers everywhere.
Comments and annotations are left untouched; only form fields are flattened. Keep your original if you might need to edit the answers later.

Can I undo flattening?
No. The fields are gone for good in the new file, so keep the original if you may need to change an answer.
What if my PDF has no form fields?
Then there is nothing to flatten: its content is already fixed on the page, and the tool tells you so.
Is my form uploaded?
No. Flattening runs in your browser; the file never leaves your device.
