How it works
Tip = bill × tip% ÷ 100; total = bill + tip; per person = total ÷ number of people. Amounts are rounded to two decimals only for display.
Tipping customs vary widely: 15–20% is common in the United States, while in much of Europe service is included and people round up or leave 5–10%.
