How to use
- Choose your consumption unit.

How it works
With L/100 km: fuel (L) = distance (km) × consumption ÷ 100. With km/L: fuel = distance ÷ km per litre. With MPG: fuel (gallons) = distance (miles) ÷ MPG. Cost = fuel × price.
US and UK gallons differ (3.785 L vs 4.546 L), so enter the fuel price per the same gallon as your MPG figure.

Why does my real consumption differ from the official figure?
Speed, traffic, air conditioning and load can increase consumption by 10–30% compared with lab tests.
Can I use it for electric cars?
Use kWh/100 km as consumption and the price per kWh — the maths is the same as L/100 km.
